Honor 6X, the latest addition to Huawei’s Honor-series, is set to be launched in India on January 24.
Featuring a 5.5-inch (1080×1920 pixels) full-HD IPS display with 2.5D curved glass protection, a Kirin 655 octa-core (4 cores at 2.1GHz + 4 cores at 1.7GHz) SoC, and a hybrid dual-SIM (Nano-SIM) card slot, with support for microSD cards (up to 128GB) in the second SIM card slot.
The smartphone running EMUI 4.1 OS based on Android 6.0 Marshmallow , will sport a 12-megapixel rear camera, an 8-megapixel front camera and will be powered by a 3340 mAh battery.It sports a fingerprint sensor on the rear panel that the company claims can unlock the smartphone in 0.3 seconds.
Honor 6X will support 4G VoLTE connectivity and Bluetooth 4.1, Wi-Fi 802.11 b/g/n, and GPS/ A-GPS.
The phone was first announced at a price of Rs 9,765 for the base 3GB RAM and 32GB model. The Honor 6X is also available in 4GB RAM, 32GB memory at Rs 12,697 and 4GB RAM, 64GB memory at Rs 15,630
